God may have ‘gone a bit too far’, with this second round of flooding that has devastated so much of the country, one Church of England bishops admitted today.
Bishop Trevor Magdalene of Nazarethingworth, said that perhaps God had ‘overstepped the mark’ this weekend and needed to ‘pull back the reigns a little,’
‘The first round of floods was okay, I mean the punishment more or less fit the crime, so to speak. I’ve been on my knees all weekend trying to get him ‘on the line’ to ask him to perhaps ease up a little, but he might be away for the August holidays,’ said the desperate Bishop from his parish, located in Mincingshire, which was unaffected by the floods.
Pictured here last month at the Vatican’s ‘Rocky Horror’ night doing the Time Warp with the Bishop of Nancy, Bishop Magdalene said he was a climate change skeptic and that the floods were caused by ‘nothing more than sin’.
‘Sin is responsible for these floods. Sin and allowing the gay to marry.’
